The 4v4 Grid and Kart Setup
Setting your 4v4 grid and karts is an official phase of Kart League Manager. Lineup and setup thinking for team kart racing.
The grid and the karts are both yours to set — officially. “Set your 4v4 grid and karts” is the third verb of the official loop, after raising drivers and drafting maps. (Source: Steam store page)
What Is Confirmed?
- Grid setting: choose who races (four of six — see our drivers guide).
- Kart setting: configure the machines (parameters in-game, not documented).
- The race then runs with official drama: bumps, drafts and last-lap boosts. (all: official page)
Setup Thinking (community estimates, racing-manager genre)
- Match kart to track, driver to kart. 12 themed tracks (official) imply setup axes (grip, top speed, acceleration); a kart set for straights on a twisty theme is a handicap you chose. (tracks official; axes community)
- Grid for the draft phase you won. If you picked the track, field your track-affinity four; if you lost the draft, field the defensive lineup — see our maps guide.
- Setup is a per-track notebook, not a slider ritual. Note what worked where; by the second division cycle the notebook outranks instinct. (community estimate)

Are there kart upgrades or parts? Not documented — “karts” as a settable unit is confirmed, the tuning depth is in-game. (community note)
